From Linqu to Moscow: Jianmei Aluminum at MosBuild 2024 — An Exhibition Review

Moscow in May, and Crocus Expo is buzzing. From May 13 to 16, 2024, the 29th Moscow International Building and Interiors Trade Show — MosBuild 2024 — took place here. Shandong Jianmei Aluminum Co., Ltd. (“Jianmei Aluminum”) traveled thousands of kilometers to meet customers from Russia and the CIS face to face at Booth H5063, bringing aluminum profiles “Made in Linqu” to the heart of the Russian-speaking market.

As the largest and most influential building and interiors trade show in Russia and the CIS, MosBuild — organized by ITE Group — is the most important gateway into the region’s building materials market. This edition occupied 11 halls of the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center, with over 80,000 square meters of exhibition space. Of the 1,400-plus exhibitors — up 1.5 times from 2023 — more than 500 made their debut. Over the four days, the show drew more than 57,500 professional visitors, with exhibitors and visitors representing 47 countries and 87 regions of the Russian Federation. Notably, over 600 Chinese companies from 24 provinces and regions, including Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Fujian, and Hebei, attended the show — a record high that underscores the growing presence of Chinese brands in the Russian building materials market.

At Booth H5063, Jianmei Aluminum presented four major product lines — architectural door and window profiles, curtain wall profiles, industrial profiles, and all-aluminum furniture — along with its full in-house surface treatment chain, from mold design and aluminum alloy processing to anodizing, electrophoresis, powder coating, fluorocarbon coating (PVDF), and wood-grain transfer. Drawing on more than two decades of R&D and manufacturing experience, the Jianmei team offered one-on-one product presentations and technical consultations to visiting architects, developers, and building material buyers, and the booth saw a steady stream of inquiries throughout the show.

In Russia’s cold climate, customers place particular emphasis on the weather resistance, precision, and customization capability of door, window, and curtain wall profiles — and that is exactly where Jianmei Aluminum’s strengths lie. During the exhibition, the Jianmei team established connections with a number of potential customers from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and beyond, with several construction companies expressing clear intentions to cooperate on site — opening the door to deeper engagement across the CIS market.
